Site "ACID" Test

Does the site answer the questions that spawned it?

  1. Are image maps supported on modern browsers?
  2. Is it possible to do "useful work" with a primarily image-map-based site in 2024?
  3. Is it also accessible / suitable for use with "retro" browsers (in 2024)?
  4. Is the markup required minimal?

My own assessment: ACID Score: 4/4

  1. Yes. -- All that I have tried so far... including looking/working great on mobile platforms
  2. Yes. -- I think I successfully communicated an idea or two within these published pages
  3. Yes. -- Maybe this is a gimme, but it's worth scoring the win for technology that is so seemlessly supported across so many web clients ... inherently, without tricks
  4. Yes. (count the bytes for yourself)
